Executive Assistant
In my role as Executive Assistant, I help keep projects and operations running smoothly behind the scenes so that our clients and team can stay focused on what matters most. From managing calendars and coordinating projects to ensuring communication flows clearly, my goal is to provide steady support that helps everything feel organized, intentional, and on track.
After nearly a decade of working alongside Tanya in a part-time capacity, we’ve developed a strong rhythm for working effectively together and supporting the entire Align Financial team. I’m passionate about building systems, creating structure, and turning ideas into action. I enjoy capturing the essence of a project or need, brainstorming effective solutions, and following through on the details to make things happen. Clear communication and thoughtful follow-through are at the heart of how I work, and I take pride in helping both our clients and internal team feel supported, confident, and well cared for. Before stepping into this role full-time I built my career in counseling, supporting the social and emotional needs of middle school students. As it turns out, helping teenagers navigate challenges isn’t all that different from supporting financial advisors – both require patience, perspective, and a good sense of humor! I entered that field after earning my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Organizational Leadership from the College of St. Scholastica. I then completed my Master’s in School Counseling and Preventative Mental Health at Creighton University. The same skills I practiced in counseling – listening carefully, problem-solving thoughtfully, and bringing calm to chaos – now help me thrive at Align Financial.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me spending time with my family and our dogs, playing pickleball, watching Grey’s Anatomy for what feels like the 930th time, or getting lost in a good book.
